More police for trains
Mayor funds 50 more police officers for outer London train stations The Mayor delivered on another key manifesto pledge when he announced an additional 50 British Transport Police officers to patrol trains and stations in outer London. Transport for London will invest more than £6m during the next two years to fund the extra officers as part of the Mayor's commitment to improve security at outer London rail stations.
